Low Pressure Mist System For Greenhouses For Greenhouses

What is the difference between a low pressure mist system, what should be considered when buying for a greenhouse?

In the past few years, foggers have become especially popular, which are used to create a mist effect in gardens, terraces or greenhouses. To combat heat and preserve plants, a low-pressure mist system is suitable. Obviously, the popularity is associated with the critically high temperatures that the weather indulges us in the summer. But not all consumers fully understand what they are buying.

What is the fog system?

For example, take a low pressure mist system as an example. The FOCUS fogger is a complete greenhouse and garden module that includes everything you need to feed your spray system. The fog system of household type includes the fogger itself and a set of nozzles. Among specialists, a mist system refers to pressurized water fittings and nozzles. Artificial fog circuits will require a fogger.

Industrial Fog Systems with foggers may include additional filtering devices, a touch control system, a liquid fertilizer application unit.

The domestic low pressure fogging module is equipped with:

  • pump;
  • membrane filter (for washing machines);
  • directly by the pressurized water supply to the spraying devices.

The FOCUS fogger is a versatile piece of equipment. First of all, these are medium and high pressure systems, to which PVC fittings and nozzles designed for use at low pressure can be connected. But thanks to the correct combination of the technical parameters of the FOCUS fogger, using inexpensive nozzles, you can get high-quality fog for a terrace or garden greenhouse. In some cases, these systems can be used for large farm greenhouses.

This quality makes it possible to obtain fog in household systems, and not small drops, due to which surrounding objects will get wet.

Types of fog systems:

  • low pressure system (2.5-6 kgf/cm2) - used for domestic purposes;
  • medium pressure system (about 15 kgf/cm2) - usually selected for garden greenhouses;
  • high pressure system (up to 100 kgf/cm2) - used in agricultural enterprises for irrigation of closed ground.

How does a low pressure mist system work?

The mist system pressurizes the water supply system with a pump and supplies it to the atomization nozzles, which are designed to produce fine water droplets or, in other words, mist.

Depending on the number of nozzles, the pressure in the fogger is generated differently, so in our fog system online store for the garden and private greenhouse are presented by models depending on the number of nozzles.

The presented models are designed for cooling air and lowering humidity on terraces and in garden greenhouses. The systems are also applicable for air conditioning in indoor areas, especially where there is no fresh inflow.

For greater reliability, you can install more expensive metal nozzles. This is appropriate if you use the bottom connection to decorate the reservoir with artificial fog and irrigate the garden.

What is the optimal choice?

A low pressure mist system is certainly not the best option if you want to get high quality fog without the effect of wetting the surroundings. A medium pressure system is better suited for domestic purposes, and this is exactly what the FOCUS fogger offers, making the connection universal.

note that misting nozzles should spray a finely dispersed water cloud, and not spray microdroplets with a cone. The droplet fraction should be such that it contributes to instantaneous evaporation. Please note that the nozzles differ in the diameter of the spray nozzle. You need to be guided in the choice by the technical requirements of the fogger.
