When is it beneficial to use boilers diesel fuel

It turns out that Swiss chalets high in the mountains are heated with diesel boilers. Boiler houses are built according to the separate principle of heat carrier distribution. That is, they can supply heat to individual rooms. They also work with climate microcontrollers. As a result, hotel owners can optimize the consumption of expensive heating medium as much as possible. Let us recall that to obtain a kilowatt of heat using a diesel engine, you need to spend over UAH 14. (2020). When using pellet fuel - only UAH 0.464. (2020). But diesel boilers are relevant in their field - this is a fact.

How do diesel boilers work?

The principle of operation of a liquid fuel boiler is somewhat reminiscent of the features of heating pellet boiler... Fuel is supplied by an inflatable burner, where it is mixed with air and atomized by a fan. Fine fuel-water dust ignites in the combustion chamber. The walls of the chamber heat up and transfer heat to the coolant by contact. This produces gases that are discharged through the chimney.

Modern diesel boilers also use the condensing principle of heating. That is, they take away heat from gaseous combustion products. This is achieved by installing a plate heat exchanger.

Negative points - soot and carbon dioxide

Diesel combustion is associated with high carbon dioxide and soot emissions. This stat cannot be reduced. Diesel boilers must be constantly cleaned of soot and a preventive inspection must be provided. Only in this case can one count on normal operation with high efficiency.

Nevertheless, all types of fuel and heating equipment are used by consumers in different areas. But for remote objects, experts advise buying pellet boilers.

Pellets from branches

You can make pellets yourself from wood waste. For example, sawdust and tree branches. After grinding, you will need to pass the mass through a pellet press. With the desktop version, you can granulate up to 130 kg of product per hour. Its cost is UAH 14,000. (2020).

The purchase of a grinder, dryer and pellet mill will be the best option for the procurement of fuel raw materials. Please note that pellets are made from hay, peat, sunflower husks, garbage and other household and industrial waste, including animal excrement.

Remote farms and individual farms can not only save on heating when switching to fuel pellets of at least 50%. Agricultural waste is used for making pellets and heating domestic and industrial premises.

To do this, you need to install pellet burners FOCUS and related heating equipment.
