The ecoMAX controller is designed to control:
- a cascade of solid fuel boilers,
— a central heating system with three heating circuits with the possibility of expanding up to 7 (seven) circuits, when installing additional expansion modules,
- hot water boiler,
— DHW recycling,
- an additional backup boiler (gas or diesel) in a cascade circuit.
The principle of operation of the controller
Heat source
The controller controls a cascade of solid fuel boilers in the heating system and an additional backup boiler (gas or oil) in this cascade system, turning it on and off
operation of boilers depending on the demand for heating the central heating system.
Hot water supply
The controller controls the operation of the DHW pump by heating the DHW tank to the temperature set by the user. Hot water heating can be carried out according to a programmed schedule
The controller also controls the operation of the recirculation pump, which ensures the transport of hot water to a remote bathroom or kitchen.
Heating circuits
The controller manages the operation of one unregulated heating circuit (fan coil units) and two regulated heating circuits (radiators or underfloor heating). The required temperature of the heat carrier in the heating circuits is set according to the readings of the outside temperature sensor, as a result, despite the change in the outside temperature, the room temperature in the heated
premises is maintained at a given level.
Dependent and independent heating circuits
- Dependent heating circuit - the control panel of the controller can be a common room thermostat for several heating circuits. For example, the room temperature reading of the panel installed in the living room affects the temperature of the radiator circuit and the underfloor heating circuits, in this situation there is no need for additional thermostats.
- Independent heating circuit - it is possible to connect several control panels, each of which will measure the temperature in each individual room and control the operation of each circuit separately. .
Equipment that enhances comfort
Recommended for installation:
- additional temperature sensors (EcoSter has a built-in thermostat);
- EcoNet communication module.
Together, this set of equipment, together with a controller for servicing a pellet burner, allows you to fully automate the operation of heating equipment and adjust it to comfortable and energy-saving modes.
