Apartment Backup Heating and Hot Water System. Electric Heating With Climate Control

Electric heating with climate control in an apartment with central heating

Today, electric heating with climate control in an apartment as backup heating is an effective way to maintain a comfortable temperature in the premises. It is easy to install, allowing you to install a low-power electrode boiler with program control and climate control on each circuit. In this case, permission and project implementation for an individual heating system are not required.

To operate such a solution, you will need to allocate additional kilowatts per apartment.

Electric heating with climate control in an apartment can be implemented in different ways

Our company describes solutions for the use of backup electric boilers using water coolant. It has its advantages such as a long service life, optimal heating costs and the absence of electromagnetic radiation in residential areas. Alternatively, you can use for full heating:

  • thermal panels;
  • infrared heated floors;
  • film electric heated floor.

Each of these solutions has its own characteristics and advantages. Despite economical technologies that allow a 300-watt panel to heat a room of 9-12 m2, heating costs in winter are quite high. The disadvantages of the solution include a relatively short service life compared to electric heating with climate control based on water coolant.

If you want to disconnect from the main networks, install a pellet thermal power plant for your apartment building

The Ukrainian manufacturer of pellet boilers FOCUS proposes to approach the issue of improving the quality of heating in a radical way. Residents of apartments usually install electric heating with climate control as a backup. This is the optimal solution when there is not enough heat in the system or during periods of severe frost.

But OSBB can install their own boiler room with climate control and supply heat automatically according to the data of the weather regulator and “on demand” of users throughout the year without actual interruption. At the same time, heat will be available to residents at a low cost, since FOCUS pellet boilers work with cheap agro granules and allow saving on heating up to 70% compared to gas ones.

The use of climate control allows you to optimize consumption algorithms and reduce heat consumption to the required level. It turns out very economical.

As an addition, you can install a pellet steam generator to generate electricity. Operational heat is typically used for hot water treatment and heating. Such a thermal power plant will be completely autonomous and independent of central heating, while simultaneously generating light and heat at a low cost.
