Buy more than just wood pellets for pellet boiler
When do buyers purchase pellet boiler other manufacturer or our pellet burners FOCUS, the question invariably arises as to which granular fuel is recommended. As you know, wood pellets are made from waste from the woodworking industry. They are conventionally renewable fuels. But the renewal period is very long with other raw materials for pellets.
The pellets offered on the market differ in composition and, as a consequence, in calorific value, as well as in the quality of emissions into the atmosphere during the combustion period. The right choice allows you to use fuel efficiently.
European standards in Ukraine
On the Ukrainian market, wood pellets can be found on sale with a more expensive cost, but also with qualitatively low ash content and high calorific value. The main characteristic that distinguishes wood pellets from other types is ash content. It is 0.5-0.7%. Sunflower husk agropells give more heat during combustion, but their ash content is higher, of the order of 3-4%. High-ash pellets like lignin have a 10% index and smell bad when burned.
Today in Ukraine there are no quality standards for pellets used by households and enterprises. There will be no bans, at least not yet. And the cost of granulated raw materials in some cases differs by 1.5 times. But it is still much cheaper than solid fuel.
When not to buy anything but wood pellets
If you want to heat with pellets, then you should think about the location of the boiler. In principle, the technology makes it possible to install such heating equipment in residential premises. However, in this case, we recommend purchasing wood pellets that meet EU standards. They are used not only in boiler equipment, but also for pellet fireplaces.
Wood pellets will not create an additional load on the microclimate of the living space and do not emit odors during combustion. They correspond as much as possible to the European quality of fuel.
Pellet burner FOCUS - efficiently burns even garbage
If you do not want to think about the quality of fuel, but take the cheapest available, we recommend a pellet torch burner. The technology of volumetric combustion and pyrolysis afterburning completely eliminates the disadvantages of fuel pellets that can be purchased for heating. The caloric benefits of pellets are significant in boilers for home installation. The semi-industrial and industrial versions can provide maximum efficiency when working on any pellet.
