Heated floors in the production hall

Warm Floors in Factories

How effective are underfloor heating in a production hall?

Today we will discuss whether it makes sense to make underfloor heating in a production workshop, and how effective they are in various cases. As a positive argument in favor of this technology in production, it can be noted that with their help it is possible to provide comfortable working conditions in poorly heated rooms, subject to economical low-temperature heating. It will not cost much, but it will create the minimum necessary conditions for comfortable work in unheated rooms.\

Air Heating of Greenhouses with Pellet Boilers

Heated floors in the production workshop and unheated workshops - how effective is it?

Obviously, working in an unheated shop is quite difficult, especially when it comes to sub-zero temperatures. Air heating is usually used for air heating. But large heat losses and a large volume of rooms reduce the efficiency of the technology and make it very expensive to operate. At the same time, there is a solution that is considered inefficient in production conditions. These are underfloor heating powered by a monoblock FOCUS pellet boiler.

Why does the FOCUS monoblock pellet boiler make underfloor heating for production an effective solution:

  • the boiler operates on any type of fuel pellets, including high-ash and domestically produced pellets, or on agropellets. In other words, you can reduce fuel costs to a minimum without sacrificing efficiency, since the boiler is equipped with a digital torch burner using volumetric combustion technology;
  • pellet boiler FOCUS monoblock is designed for three modes of operation - underfloor heating, heating and hot water supply. Architecturally, it is single-circuit, but its advantage is that the connection does not require complex installation, but only a heating system that meets the simplest requirements, and a pump for it;
  • underfloor heating provides by default inexpensive heating, the task of which is to maintain the temperature, and not to heat the room. This is exactly what is needed in unheated workshops, where it is necessary to make the location of workers more comfortable, and not to heat the room.
  • Pellet boiler FOCUS monoblock is a fully digital controlled solution that makes the heating of your building fully automatic.

Application disadvantages:

  • for warm floors, a water coolant is used, which heats up more slowly than infrared floors;
  • during installation, it is required to use a reinforced support to avoid damage to the pipes during operation.

The advantages of underfloor heating in the production workshop include uninterrupted operation for at least 50 years (according to the service life of the pipes for the water coolant). All connections are made in a separate shield with access for plumbers.

Pellet Boiler Focus Monoblock

Why do we recommend FOCUS monoblock?

Pellet boiler FOCUS monoblock is our new model, which is characterized by compact installation without the need to deploy a boiler room. We can install such a boiler for heating according to the floor heating technology of a specific workshop, without complicating the heating system. The boiler is fully automatic, switched on by the weather regulator and requires only the timely loading of pellets.
