Pellet burner with automatic feeding of pneumatic type: what is it?

With a fairly low prevalence of technology on sale in Ukraine, one can find pellet boilers and pellet burners different designs. They differ in cost, technology and loading method. Fuel loading into the pellet burner is provided mechanically, with the help of screws of the "Archimedes screw" type. The auger is connected to a motor, which starts it at the command of the microcontroller during automatic or manual ignition of the burner.

The supply of fuel inside the burner is organized by default, but the pellet burner with automatic feed implies the transportation of pellets from the storage bin. This conveyor can be pneumatic and provide high power. But pneumatics are used only in more expensive industrial models. Usually the same augers "are engaged" in external transportation. And this is a simple and reliable approach to transportation.

However, pneumatic loading of fuel into the pellet burner provides a higher fuel feed rate. It is applicable in industrial models when maintenance of powerful heating equipment is required.

Pellet burner with automatic feeding - is there really a need for automation

How does pneumatic feeding work?

Pneumatic feeding involves moving the pellet along the transport channel under the influence of compressed air. This option, without any contact with the fuel, allows controlled mechanical work to transport bulk products. The advantage of pneumatic feeding is the speed and volume of the transported material. That, accordingly, predetermined its use in the loading pellet complex.

The pneumatic feed is used for paint coating in the automotive industry. In conveyors, this type of delivery is effective against low quality fuel to improve its free-flowing properties.
