Low temperature heating (definition)

Low temperature heating - This heating system, in which the coolant (water, air or other coolant) is heated to a relatively low temperature, usually in the range of 30–50 °C. This type of heating is used in highly energy-efficient systems such as underfloor heating, heating panels or heat pumps.

Low temperature heating and savings

Low temperatures reduce heat loss, improve thermal comfort and reduce operating costs. Such systems are also compatible with renewable energy sources such as solar collectors or heat pumps.
