What is the difference between an industrial high pressure mist system and a residential version?
By default, the High Pressure Fog System is an industrial system focused on fogging large indoor areas. In other words, it is intended for industrial greenhouses and greenhouses in parks. Such systems are also applicable outdoors, for example, for irrigation and air conditioning in public and private parks.
Let's understand the terms and characteristics
To be pedantic in terms, a high pressure mist system is directly a pressurized water supply circuit to the nozzles from the misting system. The latter in a household or semi-industrial version consists of a pump and a membrane filter for softening water, as well as a number of components for controlling the operation of the device.
In other words, a high pressure mist system is a mist supply system for high pressure nozzles. In the industrial version, it is made of metal and is equipped with pressure control devices. A fogger is connected to fog systems, which provides a supply of pressurized water. (up to 100 kgf/cm2).
The high pressure mist systems offered by our company are designed for specific customers and are intended for agricultural enterprises for the purpose of irrigation of closed ground and microclimate control. Industrial foggers are used for cooling open public areas, installations with designer fog in creative productions and for other purposes.
How is the high pressure mist system different from other offerings?
Industrial systems are different in that higher pressure is required to create fog with atomizing nozzles. Accordingly, the technical requirements are also becoming more stringent. First of all, this concerns the fog system itself - fittings and nozzles, they are made of more durable materials - high-density polyethylene or anti-corrosion metal, and not plastic, as in household low-pressure versions.
In practice, taking into account the features, the high-pressure mist system (this is a supply system and nozzles) is supplemented with:
- fogging system of appropriate power;
- sensors;
- security system to control the parameters of equipment operation;
- powerful industrial filters for mechanical purification and softening of water;
- liquid fertilizer application system;
- distributing the water supply under pressure to the fogging nozzles.
Such systems are supplied separately or as part of microclimate systems, which are developed by FIREBBOX specifically for the client. It includes a premium software controlled pellet heating system as well as a fogger with atomizers. Together, humidity and temperature can be used to regulate the microclimate in a wide range of settings, providing a response to sensor data.
Nozzles and contours distributing fog
We have explained quite clearly that the mist system is a system deployed on the principle of plumbing, in which pressurized water is supplied to the spray devices. Nozzles can be connected individually, mounted under the roof of the greenhouse or near the ground at an equal distance from each other, or spray fog on a moving tire. In this case, it all depends on the specific solution that is right for your greenhouse.
