Mist Systems For Greenhouses And Conservatories

Fog systems for greenhouses and conservatories

The proposed mist systems for the greenhouse and conservatory make it possible to deploy an adjustable micro-climate system, with which it is possible to maintain the level of humidity and temperature. People who have been to greenhouses only as visitors do not grasp all the subtleties and possibilities that fog systems provide to gardeners.

You can use it to cool, humidify the air, irrigate plants by analogy with natural conditions, as at the moment of early dawn after night. This is very useful and ensures that your conservatory will delight you with its natural luxury.

Any microclimate

First of all, foggers provide micro-drop watering of plants, as in natural conditions in the morning. They also collectively regulate temperature and humidity. In other words, you can create any garden as you wish: tropics, subtropics or the middle zone of Eurasia. These are intriguing opportunities for enthusiastic gardeners who are eager to experiment.

Automatic control

The advantage of such systems is the ability to connect to software platforms, which, in combination with FOCUS boilers with pellet burners controlled by a microcontroller, can provide “fine” settings for heat supply, humidity and air conditioning in different rooms of your house. For large greenhouses and industrial greenhouses, the FOCUS brand offers software-controlled microclimate systems.

How they work and what is included in the microclimate system:

  • boiler with a pellet burner controlled automatically by the Plum EcoMAX microcontroller;
  • room temperature sensors;
  • fogging system FOCUS;
  • electronic fog system switch;
  • humidity sensors (hygrometers);
  • a control system to which several fog systems can be connected.

What are mist systems for greenhouses and conservatories

The FOCUS fogger is a modular "in a box" system, which is a high pressure unit. It includes a pump, a pressure gauge, a water purification filter, automation, as well as a pipe system with nozzles.

From the water supply, water through the built-in filter enters the fogger and is sent to the pump, which creates a pressure of 60-100 bar, water is supplied under pressure to the nozzles, thanks to the design of which it is sprayed.

Due to this, the sprayed water particles are no more than 5 microns in size. This droplet size evaporates instantly, creating a natural fog effect that can be used to change the humidity and lower the temperature through air conditioning.

Theoretically, the droplet size can be changed. This is realized with the help of different pressure in the system, respectively, different speed of the pump. As a result, micro-droplet irrigation is provided, for which dispersion water nutrient mixtures can be used.

spraying

Fog systems for greenhouses and conservatories atomize water using nozzles. These are low-power systems, spraying in industrial greenhouses can be implemented using a fan and nozzles.

When choosing a fog system, care must be taken that the nozzles installed in the linear system (along the perimeter) have an anti-drip valve that will prevent the formation of drops when the pressure decreases.

Fog systems implemented with a fan and nozzles are ideal for air conditioning and freshening rooms with poor air access, as the fog cloud is evenly distributed throughout the room.
