Weather regulator for climate control - a built-in feature of FOCUS pellet boilers<\/span><\/h2>\n

Different devices can be understood as a weather regulator for climate control, so we decided to expand on this topic in a little more detail so that our readers and customers can understand the logic of deploying a climate control system based on PLUM climate control.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

EcoMax controllers and their functions<\/span><\/h2>\n

First of all, we are talking about EcoMax microcontrollers. EcoMax260 is available on the market - it is a microcontroller for a solid fuel boiler with manual loading, which controls the boiler blower and maintains a constant temperature of the hot water supply and coolant circuit. This is an ideal solution if you decide to abandon the hydraulic arrow and thermal buffer in the hydraulic piping. EcoMax260 will solve all your safety problems for you.<\/span><\/p>\n

EcoMax360 is an automatic device for pellet burners that controls their operation. The microcontroller has a modest interface, but controls the pellet feed auger, fan, ignition heating element, and grate drive. A weather sensor can be connected directly to the module; as a result, the temperature in the heating circuit will be compared with weather conditions; the controller also works with room thermostats.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

However, control of heating circuits and temperature regulation are only possible if there are additional devices in the system, including via the Internet (ecoSTER200, ecoSTER TOUCH, eSTER_x40, eSTER_x80, ecoNET300). To some approximation, this microcontroller can be considered a weather controller.<\/span><\/p>\n

But the EcoMax860 P is already positioned by the manufacturer as a weather regulator for climate control. It has a touch panel and a bright color screen. Designed to control boilers and pellet burners in accordance with weather conditions. This device is installed on the latest models of FOCUS boilers. If you need to service complex heating circuits, then the EcoMax860 P can do it. Moreover, it can work in systems with individual, mixed and central heating, supporting multiple modes and the operation of three- and four-way valves.<\/span><\/p>\n

In other words, EcoMax860 P can be connected to any heating system, connect sensors and thermostats, and it will act as a weather controller for climate control.<\/span><\/p>\n

Room touch panels ecoSTER200, ecoSTER TOUCH<\/span><\/h2>\n

In some cases, consumers consider the ecoSTER200 and ecoSTER TOUCH touch panels to be weather controllers for climate control. This is actually not true. Wireless versions of the modules work with the EcoNET module synchronizing radio signal transmission with each other. They are used as access points for online control of heating system parameters, and have an expanded interface compared to touch and LCD thermostats, but to some extent they are their version, since they do not have full functionality for temperature control.<\/span><\/p>\n

Climate control hardware interface<\/span><\/h2>\n

In fact, climate control is an add-on that regulates the boiler according to heat needs. For this reason, it requires a separate hardware interface, which is connected to the functional elements of the heating circuit and the boiler.
