Polish automatic climate control system PLUM<\/span><\/h2>\n

Today\u2019s article will be devoted to a topic that is of interest to many professional and non-professional users, this is automatic climate control from the PLUM company. It should be noted that automation for boilers and pellet burners is a separate product section. With its help, you can set up basic climate control, which will consist of an external, internal temperature sensor and a coolant temperature sensor.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What is required to set up basic climate control based on any FOCUS boiler? Only a few additional sensors that are simply not included with the microcontroller. Each model of FOCUS boilers is equipped with an EcoMax Plum controller, which controls the operation of the pellet burner. For its operation, including automatic switching on and off, several sensors are required. The inputs and outputs of the microcontroller are shown in the figure. We also provide a schematic diagram of the connection.<\/span><\/p>\n

Please note that the boiler can be connected to the system through a secondary heating boiler, but this is not necessary, but is required for organizing hot water supply and heated floors. The hydraulic isolation can be done in another way, for example, through a hydraulic switch and a low-temperature heating circuit. The controller \u201cfinely\u201d adjusts the burner flame intensity for heating in the \u201chere and now\u201d mode. There is no need to store heat from uncontrolled heating (as is done in unregulated solid fuel boilers).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Automated climate control can be connected to any circuit. The FOCUS company sells weather regulators with separate solutions and software settings for their boilers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Automatic climate control<\/span><\/h2>\n

Please note that you can connect temperature regulation using the capabilities of the microcontroller and expansion module. That is, in fact, one system can be expanded and serve premises in a volume corresponding to the boiler power.<\/span><\/p>\n
